About John D. Fuller, Attorney-at-Law


After graduating from the University of Florida College of Law, John Fuller began his career as Research Assistant and then Staff Counsel with the House of Representatives Committee on Corrections, Probation and Parole.  In 1988, John served under Governor Bob Martinez as his Public Safety Policy Coordinator in the Office of Planning and Budgeting where he was instrumental in successful passage of the "Safe Streets Act of 1993."  He also worked with the Florida Corrections Commission, three chairmen and twenty commissioners such as Ray Sansom.  During his time, John helped the Commission identify cost savings and conducted numerous reviews on issues involving the Departments of Corrections and Juvenile Justice, the Florida Parole Commission, and the local criminal justice system.
In 2004, he went into private practice.  Eighteen month ago, his services were retained by the Steering Committee of the "2005 Summit on the Future of Hunting in Florida" to fulfill the Executive Director position.  John Fuller is an active member of professional organizations such as the Florida Bar, the American Correctional Association and the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists.  John is an avid native Floridian outdoorsman and the President of the National Wild Turkey Federation local chapter.
