About the conference
This first conference provided a forum where diverse interest groups and FWC came together to promote understanding, dialogue and partnerships for comprehensive conservation in Florida. It addressed important trends and overarching issues in fisheries, wildlife management and conservation.
The forum was organized in partnership with the Florida 's Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy (CWCS), the major guideline for agency action, wildlife research and conservation. In fact, the success of the Strategy depends upon effective interactions with and among stakeholders.
